Choosing the right vehicle is less about passenger count and more about what you're carrying. Skis, snowboards, strollers, and oversized suitcases take real space. Use this guide to travel comfortably, not just legally.

A note on the Alphard: Six adults fit comfortably with standard carry-on bags. But once you add large checked suitcases, ski or snowboard equipment, or a stroller, we strongly recommend limiting your group to 4–5 guests so everyone — and everything — rides in comfort.
A note on the Hiace Grand Cabin: Maintaining 6–8 guests ensures ample cabin space and secure luggage storage for mountain travel.
